Weight/size restriction and emergency vehicles

Reported anonymously at 15:22, Thu 18 May 2017

We have a consistent problem on the bottom of churchill road and bloomfield rd junction. we have lorries come down churchill road and attempt to go up bloomfield rd due to their size, each time they get stuck and have to reverse all the way back up churchill rd, it's dangerous for residents and their vehicles. we need a weight/size restriction ever been put in place. in addition to this, frequently we have cars park right up to the corner, which means that emergency vehicles such as fire engines are unable to manovur the corners onto bloomfield rd, maybe placing double yellow lines on the corners on the road would be a good way to help the emergency vehicles get through and a weight restriction would provide large lorries an alternative route instead of down churchill road where they frequently get stuck, due to the tight bend and parked cars. this issue has been going on for longer than a year, but due to increased numbers of vehicles parking in the area it has become significantly worse in the past months.
