Manhole cover broken, concrete block trip hazards Reported anonymously at 16:40, Tue 21 November 2017 A concrete manhole cover was damaged when a van drove over it about four weeks ago. It has been left in a mess and unrepaired ever since. Someone put some fencing around the area, with some rubble and a cone has just been left covering it. This is a particular issue for myself because it is on the dropped curb of my driveway meaning I have difficulty getting my car in and our of my property. It also risks damaging my car, as the rubble could damage my tires which could cause me a safety serious risk when driving. I have also come close to scratching the paintwork on the fencing on a few occasions. I am also concerned because there are large blocks of shattered concrete piled there, which are a serious trip hazard. Indeed I saw someone nearly fall over them a few days ago. Additionally, given this is right next to a busy nursery school, there are lots of young families walking past every day - they often have to wheel their pushchairs into the sometimes busy road, which is a big risk for them. Given the time that has passed since the issue arose, I would be most grateful if you could now sort it out. Many thanks, Rob Weekes
