The red paving slaps that symbolise a crossing has become worn down over time, and in wet weather can become excessively slippy.

On the crossing in the middle of the road where anchor road meets park street to the side of the Marriott, the red slabs to show a crossing on the pedestrian island in the middle of the road have worn down from constant use and in wet weather are very slippy. I have seen a number of people, including myself, slip on them.
