Vehicles obstructing pavement and / or road. Emergency access compromised daily.

Reported anonymously at 12:45, Wed 22 May 2019

The number of cars parking on the park side of Nutgrove avenue has continued to increase such that daily there is now a continuous run of cars most of the way up the road. They are either parked on the pavement, meaning the use of the pavement is obstructed (meaning that one has to walk up the other side crossing 4 side roads not conducive to people with children, with wheelchairs or mobility issues) or they park fully on the road which mostly mean that emergency vehicles cannot get through. I have complained about this several times as my 96 year old father lives in Holmesdale and is often (circa once a month) in need of paramedics. The issues are compounded by the use of the bowling green in the park and after school with people who cannot walk their children to school. however most of the all day congestion in Nutgrove and all the roads off are commuters who can no longer park in Southville / North St area so now park near Victoria Park. the Constant stream of traffic to and from the area from 7 .30 to 9.30 and again after 5pm is testament to this. Like my other complaint, double yellows are ignored. No policing is making access for carers and visitors to residents a nightmare and needs urgent address.
