Speeding cars Mivart Street Easton Bristol Reported anonymously at 10:34, Fri 10 January 2020 Mivart Street connects Bellevue Road to St Marks Road in Easton. Cars speed regularly down the Street in excess often of 40 miles per hour. This street is very narrow with cars parked both sides of the Street . We have young families in the street with young children and elderly residents that frankly are not safe. The street is used as shortcut run through to Stapleton Road to avoid using the lights at Robertson Road. Which means it is always very busy in peak working hours. The street is two way traffic at present which causes problems with cars meeting head on and having to reverse back the way the came which leads to angry drivers and bad unsafe driving. The limit is 20 mph nobody seems observe this limit ? Traffic calming is needed stop the access to Mivart st from Bellevue Rd to Mivart st ?? Speed bumps are needed . Best Regards Ian Vallin.
