Graffiti spoiling the zig-zag path between Sion Hill and A4 Hotwells Road

Reported by Steve Tylor at 16:28, Tuesday 28 January 2020

Graffiti all the way down the zig-zag path between Sion Hill and the A4 Avon Gorge. More and more tacky graffiti (including the word FUK) is appearing down this quiet woodland path on Victorian stone retaining walls and steps. This is a beautiful wooded path winding steeply down the Avon Gorge, used by tourists and visitors to the Avon Gorge Hotel as well as local Bristolians. Its quiet charm is being spoilt by graffiti and litter so that it is beginning to feel rather unsafe and threatening. I have reported this to the BCT graffiti site but there is no opportunity there to include a photo, so here is a nine image montage to illustrate my complaint.
