Manhole cover sinking Reported anonymously at 11:59, Sat 1 February 2020 Manhole cover has sunk into roadway, close to junction of Muller Road and Gloucester Road. Now is 3 inches below surface and is a hazard to cyclists. Work carried out previously simply put thin layer of fine tarmacadam onto top, seemingly in response to complaint of sharp noise as it was driven over that disturbed locals trying to sleep. This has totally disappeared. Cover and surround would appear to be sinking further as heavy traffic pass over it. Needs a proper repair rather than a cosmetic waste of time.
