Overgrown Fence causing obstruction to te pavmnte Reported by Ian Beattie at 08:40, Thu 6 February 2020 The fence from opposite Dinglewood Close past the bus stop and along to the entrance to the Dingle(opposite end of Coombe Lan)e is seriously overgrow by Russian vine. I have reported this in Auguts, November and December 2019 but nothing has been done because the land on the other side of the fence is undetermined private land. Having said this I have cut back the vine for the past 10 years but now 80 years of age am determined that it should be the job for the Council (on the pavement side of the fence) as it causes an obstruction to the pedestrians. In 2006 it was repaired by BCC at my request, for safety reasons as the the voice had been so heavy that it damaged the fencing post. There is no excuse for Parks not to trim the vine on the pavement side of the fence.
