Missing sign: "Cyclists please dismount". Reported anonymously at 20:46, Mon 11 May 2020 Now that we have residents on furlough, and encouragement to cycle, a large number of cyclists come down Sandyleaze and, at the end of the road, use the alley-way as a short-cut through to Coombe Lane. This would be fine, if they dismounted when using the short cut. It is just a narrow alley-way, with a corner half-way down, so you can't see what is approaching. Pedestrians have to jump out of the way, as cyclists hurry through. It puts pedestrians at risk, and there are vulnerable people living nearby: elderly residents with poor mobility, and a supported house for blind people, and, of course, families with people of all ages and abilities. Please put up signs saying "Cyclists please dismount", at both ends of the short cut. Thank you.
