Loose stones in alley wall by 2 station rd, only slightly retaining

Reported anonymously at 01:39, Thu 16 July 2020

Alley between Lilstock Ave and Station rd, some old walls last 100s years, this one was already leaning over itself here, 2 station rd one side, electric substation otherside, when repointed few years ago making it appear sound, but a 3mtr plus (giant?) maple has been allowed to grow right down between the stones possibly to ground helping to break them apart, so I can see 3 that appear loose 4 or 5ft up, ie broken pointing and gaps where a stone is slightly out from the rest, so might fall out on a foot or toddler . There are 2 budlea also but as yet the wall there isn't leaning or breaking there, but I have seen plenty of instances where they do, and the wall has to be rebuilt in that spot, eg. half of Kensington rd, so it seems all vegetation could be removed wall repaired and capping stones repointed along the wall top, all the above is in my opinion.
