Un-surfaced road with large potholes, no safe pedestrian pavement or cycle access - unacceptable road quality

Reported anonymously at 15:59, Friday 17 July 2020

Since Summer 2017 the multi-million pound Viridor Energy Recycling Facility has been ongoing. This has dramatically impacted the quality of the Severn Road. The road has been left un-surfaced in sections for nearly three years, with raised man hole covers, large pot holes, no pavements for safe pedestrian workers to access the site - which leads to pedestrians walking in the road. No safe cycle route which is incredibly dangerous with heavy HGV fully loaded earth trucks driving along the road. Please please consider these points before anyone is seriously injured or a vehicle is seriously damaged. I understand that economic growth is needed and this area is of focus but without a safe road infrastructure plan in place, vehicles and people are at risk.
