Missing road markings resulting in dangerous parking Reported anonymously at 17:40, Wed 5 August 2020 A patch of road has evidently been resurfaced but the double yellow lines have not been reinstated. This has resulted in what is essentially a free parking space where vehicles - particularly larger vehicles - obstruct the right turn from Temple Rose Street on to Temple Back. It is necessary to turn wide to avoid vehicles in the space, and a particular danger is that when the space is occupied by a van drivers can neither see - nor be seen by - cyclists joining Temple Back turning left from Temple Way using the drop kerb, pictured. Most recently I have witnessed a driver turning right from from Temple Rose Street narrowly avoid hitting a passenger getting out of a transit van in to the road who had been obscured by the van itself. As there is a lot of other resurfacing work currently going on in the area, it seems like a minor job to reinstate the double yellow lines, and this is becoming increasingly hazardous right now as more inexperienced cyclists are taking to these roads.
