Pedestrian crossing out, no signs for pedestrians!

Reported anonymously at 22:29, Tue 18 August 2020

If the crossing lights are out, why is there only a sign telling drivers that the crossing isn't working? The only purpose of the traffic lights is to stop traffic so people can cross the busy road. A sign for pedestrians in a newly dangerous situation might be more useful than a sign for drivers who are not made less safe by the crossing not working.
