Seriously hazardous trip hazard for pedestrians sunken drain cover not obvious : Outside GW Air Ambulance Charity shop, or a bit further up the courtyard: small drain cover in Carlton Court Reported by David Moore at 14:38, Wed 16 December 2020 Yes, I saw a man on crutches nearly fall over after not seeing it and stepping his foot into it . In about Sept-October time. It is still there and it is not obvious either, which makes it the more of a threat/real hazard. Carlton Court, the courtyard next to CoOp Canford Lane, Westbury on Trym, BS9. Up the courtyard on the left hand side as one goes up, maybe outside the beauty salon if not the Charity shop. 12 in? 30 cm? square dark coloured grating, sunken down at an angle about 20 cm maybe or less but enough to be real trip fall over threat . I had not seen it either until I was walking talking with this man on crutches who put his foot into it, as we were talking walking, and he nearly went over.
