Lower Guinea Street paving stones breaking up

Reported by Michael Nelki at 11:41, Mon 15 February 2021

Re: 2249578 The newly laid roadway and pavement on Lower Guinea Street is slowly but steadily being broken up throughout its length by City and Country work vehicles; fork-lift, lorries, vans and cars. It is worst at either end. but paving stones are cracking and loose in the mid-region also now. The traffic skirts the bollards at the southern end, driving over the pavement. There as many cracked kerbs and paving stones. The bollard is permanently removed at the northern end. There are many cracked paving stones. There are several loose paving stones in the middle. I understood this was to be a pedestrian walkway. It is used daily by many vehicles (photos available). It was, presumably, not built to withstand traffic use. Many thanks for looking into this.
