The road surface along the stretch of Filton Avenue (between Wessex Avenue & Muller Road) has been gradually deteriorating over time, and has now become extremely irregular. Reported anonymously at 10:20, Fri 26 March 2021 The road surface along the stretch of Filton Avenue (between Wessex Avenue & Muller Road) has been gradually deteriorating over time (2-3 years), and has now become extremely irregular. This is evident by the uneven nature and appearance of the road surface. This has been having an impact on nearby property, with experience of intense and severe vibrations and rumbling to be felt throughout. The uneven surface has now become drastic such that the levels of vibrations/rumbling are becoming unbearable and affecting sleep during the night. The Avenue is a very busy route with many Buses and HGVs, as well as other vehicles, using it 24-hrs a day. As a result, the discomforting vibrations occur throughout the day and night. There is concern that this issue could affect the structural integrity of properties in the vicinity, and therefore requires immediate attention. This stretch of road would benefit from a total full re-surface (as opposed to a re-dress).
