Missing paving slabs

Reported anonymously at 14:19, Tue 12 July 2022

Hi. Oakhill drive was built in 2018/2019. When built there were slabs missing round the side of the school/teachers car park side. These have orange barriers around them. The residents on Oakhill drive have complained about this time and time again. With the developer and council blaming the eachother for responsibility/resolution. It’s disgusting that 4 years on nothing has been done. We’ve paid good money for the houses, stamp duty and our taxes and it’s beggars belief that the council are relinquishing responsibility. It doesn’t matter! Just get it done using the money you take from us on a monthly basis. You waste it in other ways and would be great if you actually contributed to something the community want and need. Whilst there are barriers in place, it restricts pavement space so makes it difficult for prams/ buggies and disability scooters to get by. We have contractors on the development making good issues raised by the council but seems like the work for the missing slabs isnt on their ‘to do’ list. One of the residents have confirmed with the contractor company that the responsibility is in fact BCC’s. Email attached. Please please PLEASE sort this out asap. For the safety of the residents and the school. Many thanks David
