Novers Hill Hedges

Reported anonymously at 17:04, Thu 10 July 2014

Novers Hill has for a very long time not had any service from the Council other than the recycling and waste collection. The area that is of great concern to me and the neighbours is from Camberley Road to the bottom of the hill. The areas of concern are that for about 2 to 3 years the road has not had a litter picker (as related by the last one that the cars are too fast and they are in the actual road) which does encourage others to fly tip or litter. NB. Twice a crew of "pay back" people have cleared the litter etc. The very unkempt hedges, trees and undergrowth are grossly overgrown and despite requests this once nice roadside greenery was quite nice to look at and over. Currently it is nothing but a mess especially after (once a year) a Council contractor, without any particular skill cuts the over growth back appro: 2 foot giving better visibility to speeding vehicles. This has been something I have been chasing with the Council for many years including a home visit with Council Officers.
