Footpath between Brookgate and Ashton Drive Impassable Reported anonymously at 11:29, Fri 24 February 2017 The public footpath between Brookgate and Ashton Drive is a mudbath (we call it The Somme), which my colleagues and I have to negotiate twice a day to get to work. Our boots are ruined and I recently slipped and hurt my ankle quite badly. It is exacerbated by cyclists riding through it but it needs chippings put down URGENTLY, please. This has been like this since we moved here two years ago. Every time it rains it's like Glastonbury. Also at the Ashton Drive end of the footpath someone has place a mattress, fencing and general rubbish in the pathway which is both dangerous and an eyesore
