White lines denoting priority are incorrect

Reported in the Road Signage category anonymously at 08:34, Wed 15 March 2017

Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later

The white lines across the entrance to Ashton Avenue from McAdam Way were incorrectly painted in favour of cyclists when the diversion for the Ashton Swing Bridge refurbishment was put in place over a year ago. These white lines were then covered over with a black substance shortly after as the Council realised its mistake, however over the course of this winter the black substance has now worn away revealing the original incorrect white lines beneath. This is causing issues between cyclists and motorists as it is unclear who has priority, and this has the potential to cause a serious accident if it is not rectified.
