Damaged wall and pile of bricks left by it

Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 14:25, Tue 21 March 2017

Sent to Bristol City Council 6 minutes later

For the past two years since I moved here and initially reported this wall nothing has been done. The wall sits in front of three properties and the north end is damaged, with a pile of its bricks behind it. It, along with the patch of weeds next to it, attracts litter and is generally unclean.

  • With the summer weather weeds in this area have become very over grown, and now two green recycling bins have been abandoned here.

  • Hello, we moved to one if the 3 properties below over a year ago and note that nothing has been done yet to repair the damage to the wall that is in front of our property. The damage has worsened with the recent bad weather with an additional portion of the council wall collapsing and the pile of bricks growing. We have to step around them every day getting in and out of the house. Can you please provide an update on this?

  • What does customer follow up mean? Nothing has been done and no answer from the council so far.

  • This area is in quite a state now. The debris and over grown weeds next to it are blocking access to the properties (250, 252, 254). Litter left in this area has a tendency to blow into people's gardens. The garage (?) at the end has a very large collection of litter on its drive. 2 years and the council has done and said nothing. As the other poster mentioned, "customer follow up" seems to mean naff all.

  • It would also be nice if your bin men didn't smash up recycling boxes and litter the pieces here. It's bad enough with the public's litter.
