Need for speed curbing measures, danger to pedestrians

Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 13:53, Tue 25 April 2017

Sent to Bristol City Council 11 minutes later

At the junctions between Mariners Drive and Church road and Julian Road, there is a Lack of pavement on Mariners Drive so elderly parishioners are walking in the middle of the road to church, there is also No proper crossing between Church Road and Julian Road so elderly pedestrians are crossing blind to the cars and the bus (number 4) that speed round the blind corner on Julian Road. This is a fatal accident waiting to happen particularly every Sunday. A good solution would be 1) to fill in the pavements that are missing at the top of Mariners Drive and Julian Road 2)make a proper pedestrian crossing on Julian Road for elderly people to get the 4 bus on Julian Road and have have speed calming measures eg humps on Julian Road before the new pedestrian crossing and the blind corner.
