Vehicles parked on corner of road

Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 10:32, Thu 20 July 2017

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later

On the Entrance to Begbrook Lane (left hand side) there are vehicles frequently parked on the corner which cause obstructions when turning and leading to dangerous and daily near misses with other road users. If turning left into the road from Frenchay Park Road you and met with parked cars right to the corner, are required to brake suddenly and then edge into oncoming traffic to continue up the road. There are yellow lines in place but they need to be made longer to stop this from happening. Around peak hours (start of school, end of school and 6pm) this is a nightmare and I am aware that commuters and MOD employees park here in the day time and continue to work. Longer yellow lines on both sides of the road on the entrance to Begbrook Lane need to be painted.
