Nearly did the splits outside City Hall. One section of slabs is smooth and slimy underneath the trees.

This has been reported by others previously. A lady said she'd slipped as well. My colleagues walk across here regularly. Expect injuries today! These dozen or so slabs need replacing or resurfacing to make them nice and rough like the rest.

  • I thought the slab replacement picture above was aimed at solving this issue. The new slabs end right under the offending tree. The old slabs will be slippery again by the autumn. It's not fixed.
