Just would like to point a couple of issues we have in our road, and if is possible to get them resolved or to be considered for future plans. 1st - our street has no limit of speed and a really high traffic in pic hours, the cars drive down the hill sometimes at 40mph plus, I have two small kids and I am scare to walk in those pedestrian paths in case one of this cars loose control, as the road has narrow sections and cars not parked in the designated areas. Speed bump in not the solution as the traffic is really busy in the area, it will slow down everything and it will increase the pollution in the area a lot for those leaving there, as the air is already not perfect because the amount of car crossing this road. So I would say electronic speed limit is the best option. 2nd - In our road we have no pedestrian crossing, we already have the speed problem and the busy traffic, so to cross to the other side of the street is just impossible.
I would recommend for a member of the council to come and check our road from 7 to 9am, during this hours he can best visualize these problems in the Wedmore Vale road.
Congratulation for the cycle path the council is doing in our area, is going to improve a lot our commuting to school.
Kind Regards Breno

As a regular user of this road, I can empathise with this complaint. it is hugely busy, with parked cars down both sides of the road causing problems with traffic up and down the road, most but not all residents do have driveways although why they don't use them I will never understand! this would really help. i'm amazed there have been no accidents yet due to this problem. the road surface is also terrible. it does require some kind of pedestrian crossing. the current water works digging up the bottom of the cross section between glyn vale and wedmore vale is a huge problem for residents, pedestrians and drivers. I agree speed measures wont help, I just think it needs to be thought through properly and planned out properly, perhaps making it a one way only through route.
