Park barrier damaged by contractors

Reported in the Street Furniture category by Andrew Short at 18:42, Sat 23 September 2017

Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later

On Friday 22-9-17, at some point, one section of the barrier in to the park was removed and the holes filled with asphalt and one section was damaged by an attempt to lift it out. The park entrance is no longer secure against motorcycles and motorcycles have started to use the park as a short-cut. It looks like the barrier was deliberately removed by a contractor working on the water or sewer system. Pictures show the damage and the presence of the contractors adjacent to the damaged barrier.

Please have contractor effect appropriate repairs upon their next return (assumed to be 25-9-17) and before the route becomes more noticed and the use by motorcyclists increases, further endangering residents, pedestrians and park users.
