Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 17:04, Tue 10 October 2017

Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later

People are parking on double yellow lines and garage at bottom is using street to fix cars. Shisha bar using street as car park. We have been reporting for months with no improvement in the area. Neglected by traffic wardens.

  • As evidenced in that picture the more prevalent issue is people parking all over the pavement, blocking access. Have you informed the police?

  • Yes we have informed the police and they have ticketed people for parking on and obstructing the pavement, however, they cannot ticket people parking on the other side which is double yellow but as the yellow lines are no longer prominent the police have advised us every time over the last 6months to contact the council and use fix my street, it's therefor unhelpful for you to direct us back to the police as it is a council matter and we have been reporting it to you repeatedly over these months. Although you are called fix my street you haven't proven very interested in fixing our street, we rarely even see a traffic warden. Can you please tell us why you do not want to fix Robert Street? We are happy to take this on ourselves as the local business community and send you the bill if you do not wish to take on the work. Thanks.
