Major safety issue with possible fatal consequences
Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 16:22, Sat 14 October 2017
Sent to Bristol City Council 1 hour, 23 minutes later
The Avenue was resurfaced several weeks ago but the lines have not been repainted. There are no zig zags around the primary school and the road is completely conjested with cars parked without space down on side, there is NO visibility for crossing the road and NO passing space. This morning a car mounted the pavement narrowly missing several young children. Yesterday a car skidded to a halt on the loose gravel narrowly missing a dog walker. There is no doubt that the delay in finishing the road could have potentially fatal consequences. Given an individual can lose their license for parking on school zig zags, I doubt the council could defend inaction. Please can this be sorted out immediately before a serious accident occurs The Avenue Residents Association (TARA)
