This issue has not been resolved, yet reported 25th October !!! Its not rocket science !! the garden fence has been constructed off/over the footpath which is now reduced in footpath width. The footpath is not the property of the house owner/fence owner

I would like to complain about the fencing which has been constructed on the footpath on the corner of lawn road/downend road, the fence is of a height whereby it obstructs the view of the pedestrian when crossing the road. In addition to impeding pedestrian view of cars exiting lawn road it also has restricted the pedestrian footpath. It is apparent that there has been reports of this fence being erected on a public footpath dating back to October 2017 and no remedial action has taken place, it would be a disgrace should a collision between a car and a young mother crossing this road with a pushchair to occur, or indeed an elderly person, given this has been brought to the attention of highways department for some time without action, please can this matter be addressed.
