Dangerous Parking Britton Gardens

Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 10:43, Fri 17 November 2017

Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later

The parking at the entrance to Britton Gardens is at what I would consider to be at a dangerous level, as is shown in my photos. The pavement is regularly blocked on both sides, forcing pedestrians, especially those with prams or mobility issues to have to walk up the middle of the road. The issue is with the employees at Link House, there is a woeful lack of parking for this building, despite a reassurance that there would be at the planning meeting held before it was built. I have spoken to our local Police patrol and they issued letters to the obstructing vehicles and also to Link House. This had little effect, PCSO Emily Gumbrell has advised me to report it to yourselves to see if some road markings, parking restrictions or a residents parking scheme can be introduced. I have also spoken to neighbours who have informed me that this issue has been reported on at least two or three other occasions recently. I also understand that a Refuse collection vehicle could not enter the estate a while back, a vehicle which I gauge to be a similar size to a Fire Engine. So that causes great concern to me and the residents I have spoken to. This issue really does need to be addressed in the very near future. It makes living in the street a misery.
