Severe depression in road next to Bus stop outside house 184 Wordsworth road and kerb is damaged/level raised.
Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 13:50, Fri 1 December 2017
Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1154693.
Due to heavy bus traffic/stop the level of road surface next to kerb is getting lowered/depressed. This problem has been there for over a year now. This has resulted in raising the level of kerb, causing problems to get access to driveway. Kerb is also getting damaged gradually. This is also a a safety issue for cyclists.

Dear Bristol City Council (BCC), Thank you for your reply - much appreciated. May I ask how was this investigation performed? Due to road suppression - the height of the pavement edge from the road is raised about couple of inches. Whenever I try to get my car to my driveway, car shock absorber feel the pain and it seems like soon I’ll have to take it to garage for repairs! Also, I fell twice from my bicycle when I tried to get to my home from the road! Luckily I didn’t get injured but its a question of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’, myself or someone else gets injured! Further, after rain the bus stop also started to have small water puddles. So, I am really interested to know how was this investigation performed by BCC? Was it done by looking through google street maps or someone really visited the place to check it? It would have been nice if BCC could have tried to find out how their one sided decision to close this issue will have an impact on the complainant. I am sorry to say it but it seems to me that BCC did not carry out proper risk assessment. Regards,
