Collapsed and blocked drain that over flows and damages the front of cars that enter and exit the house hold driveway.

Reported in the Gully/Drainage category by Dave Tyler at 15:48, Sat 30 December 2017

Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later

The damaged drain has been reported a number of times (not in this way) and has remained damaged for several years. It is located at the front of the driveway to 57 Abingdon Road, BS16 3NZ and has been sinking over time causing damage to the front of my car reversing on to and driving away from the driveway.

  • Thank you for your quick response to my report of the damaged drain at the end of my driveway. But the problem with the drain has not been resolved as i explained to the helpful workmen (who could clearly see) the whole surrounding area around the drain has collapsed (sunk) including driveway/public pavement, road and curbing which the workmen agreed along with me is that, some where underneath the surrounding area of the drain cover, the drainage pipe is damaged and has collapsed causing a large area (seen in photo) to cause cracking of Tarmac and a dropped and uneven curb.
