The surface has degraded, leaving a number of surface deep potholes, which run alongside a delineated cycle route
Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 14:46, Mon 19 February 2018
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later
Between 2014 (when a new junction was put in place for accessing the University of Bristol, Hiatt Baker Hall) and 2015 when the Council applied a resin surface to demarcate a cycle route, the wearing course of tarmac has deteriorated. This has resulted in a linear series of 'potholes' which is more of a danger to cyclists, riding down Parry's Lane, as opposed to vehicle traffic.
A recent accident, involving a cyclist, has highlighted this issue.
