Large deep pothole on The Promenade carriageway.....dangerous to all road users.......on the uphill part of the roadway

Pothole has just become deeper and wider.......it needs immediate repair........before it causes broken suspension or worse! Nearest building Dorset House .......the hole is nearest to the centre of the road. Photographed this afternoon 20/2/18

  • This pot hole is now extremely dangerous and occupies the drivers-side wheel line on the up-hill side of the road. If you try and avoid the pot hole you have to swerve onto the other side off the road and risk hitting other traffic or drive over it and cause untold damage to your suspension and tyres - as i did in the dark last night.

    So I hit this pothole this evening and it blew my tyre. I had to wait by Camp Road for an hour for a recovery truck. I will be proceeding to claim for the damages it has done to my 5 month old car.

  • The large pothole outside Dorset Hse has been repaired along with some smaller repairs upon uphill stretch of the road. Well done those who reported this problem and had it repaired for all road users and most importantly the motor cyclists.
