Clairty re tree damage/ falling branches/ obstruction to street light/ parking on verge

Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 10:50, Mon 26 February 2018

Looking forward to your kind response. This tree issue has been getting worse. Please trim or replace this tree. This tree has grown enormous, branches are falling and narrowly avoiding hitting people at the bus stop. The tree is covering the street lamp. The roots are affecting the wall at the front of my property. The lamp and street furniture are green with algae. Also are cars allowed to park on the verges?

  • I appreciate this is still under investigation. I have attached an historic photo showing the trees when smaller for your consideration. Clearly the size they were was more manageable when the black and white photo was taken.
