Empty Grit Bin

Could the now empty grit bin please be refilled. I have used the grit which was under half full to put on the road (Nicholas Lane, St George) as cars were not able to make it up (from junction of Preddys Ln/St Aidens Rd). May I also say, I know we don't usually get much snow but over the years (been at this address since 1983), I have had to personally go out and hand grit that section of the hill (up to junction of Nibletts Hill/Rossiters Ln/Whites Hill), I have done it EVERY time we have had snow/icey conditions. The main roads clear easily once they are used so can some consideration be put to the side roads, if cars can't get out of side roads how can they gain access to the main. I do know you can't do them all but surely there are hotspots you can do, Nicholas Lane is on a hill, cars slide back down and is a main thoroughfare. One lady yesterday (17/03/18) got halfway and started skidding, she was stuck, scared and crying worried she was going to hit the cars parked on the road. I ended up gritting so she could careful get back down and park up. May I also say, I am almost 60 yrs old and it is hard work filling a bucket with grit, carrying it up the hill and hand gritting the road by myself (some very selfish and lazy 'younger' men live in this road I can tell you) Many Thanks Mrs M. Bishop, 50 Nicholas Lane, St George
