Damage to pedestrian footpath due to machinery being driven through, churning up the gritted surface to a mud bath
Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 13:09, Wed 11 April 2018
Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1277850.
The surface of this footpath was gritted to make it passable for pedestrians in all weather conditions. However a vehicle has been driven through, extensively damaging the surfacing and making it a thick with mud and difficult for pedestrians to use without getting covered. This is a walking to school and station route for many people so is causing a problem.

There is ongoing work here on someones garden. They are bringing rubble up through the footpath. Today there were signs warning pedestrians, and they seemed to have cleared the worst of the mud and put a couple of boards down to minimise damage. Just hope they put it right after they leave.
