Pavement Parking leading to damage
Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 12:06, Fri 11 May 2018
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1309145.
Pavement parking is a massive problem on Dirac Road and this is leading to the pavement surface becoming damaged. Something needs to be done to prevent motorists from parking on the pavement.
Install bollards or pins to stop pavement parking, this will be cheaper in the long run. Not only that in the meantime a nuisance is caused to pedestrians, especially those with pushchairs or are in wheelchairs.
Please do something about this ongoing, relentless issue

No communication from BCC about this. This problem is going to get worse when "The Loft" Ashley Down Rd opens.
I urge you to sort this out. Yellow lines, bollards, whatever it takes, thanks

Motorists continue with their anti-social behaviour of parking on the pavement, causing a nuisance and damaging the kerb stones and pavement, itself. Time for action, BCC. This has been raised with Cllr Combley

Motorists are STILL parking on the pavement despite the management company putting signs up to inform them not to park on the pavement.
Something needs to be done. What action are you going to take, BCC?

Another example of nuisance parking that BCC should be dealing with. It’s your responsibility to provide safe streets for pedestrians and take preventative measures to reduce likelihood of motorists causing an obstruction to pedestrians. Pavements are for pedestrians NOT cars. In addition cars driven on to the pavement causes damage that will ultimately need to be repaired. Who’s paying for it?

Motorists still park on the pavement on Dirac Road. The double yellow lines neex to be extended in two places. 1. Towards number 21 2. Towards the park.
