Large pot hole, at least 150mm deep on railway bride South liberty lane. Causing damage to cars. Not helped by 40T lorries using the bridge, looks very un safe to me. Also dangerous pavement running over the bridge. I believe that the damage is caused mainly by these heavy lorries.

  • This urgently need fully repairing. It has been patched up time and time again but is a main route for a container yard so it under constant heavy use. Pothole are shocking - two or three very large and deep potholes on the right side going away from Winterstoke Rd. needs urgent repair as it’s soon going to be impassable in a normal road car.

  • The surface of the bridge is terrible, must be very hazardous for motorcyclists. It has been patched up time and again, but is under constant heavy use by the lorries accessing the trading estate and the rail container yard, and as such needs properly planing back, the substrate repairing and a proper full coat of tarmac applying. Really, in the long term a replacement two lane bridge needs to be considered.

  • Feels very unsafe to walk over, cars and lorries bouncing all over the road due to pot holes and the pavement is really narrow and really in poor condition.

  • The railway bridge and pavement is in an awful state it needs a complete resurface as there is so many pot holes it is very dangerous. This isn't te first time it has been reported. Nothing never seems to get done in Ashton Vale

  • I have to use this route 8 times a week to access the Liberty Industrial Park, and the road is getting worse by the day. This problem has been reported on numerous occasions, yet nothing appears to get done.

Some of the potholes are 4 - 6 inches deep and causing damage to vehicles that use it.

Please Bristol City Council can you fix the problem, otherwise Swiss Road is going to become rat-run, and that doesn't solve the problem either for car drivers or residents of the surrounding roads.
