Water meter covered by street resurfacing
Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 13:43, Sun 20 May 2018
Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1317001.
The pavement outside my property was resurfaced on Thursday 17th May by the Council service provider Pronin Ltd and during the process have covered over the Water meter cover access to my property.
I spoke to Michelle Read, Citizen Service Officer on Friday 18th May who suggested to make contact again if the contractors had not fixed the issue and this has not happened.
Could you please correct this immediately as I am concerned that should there be an issue with my water supply or when a meter reading is required access to the meter is not possible.
Could the provider also ensure that once the problem has been corrected that the pavement looks aesthetically pleasing without the surface looking 'broken and dug up'.
Thank you.
