Brambles are destroying our fences
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 23:04, Sun 10 June 2018
Sent to Bristol City Council 5 hours, 21 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1335913.
We live in Hermitage Wood Road. Our back garden overlooks the ?old sports hall. Last summer we receive notification by letter that the brambles would be removed and they were. So far nothing this year and the brambles are now about 2ft taller than our fences, our fence is being broken by brambles which are working their way through the panels. I’d be grateful if these could be cut ASAP before we need to replace sections of our fence. Many thanks

We have yet to hear anything. The brambles have grown considerably with the warm weather and are now breaking through the fences. In some sections these are now >12ft. Our neighbours are experiencing the same issues.
I’d be grateful if these could removed as a matter of urgency before our fences are destroyed.

More photos attached. In addition within these dense brambles there are rats. We have several holes under our fences. The rat can be seen in the middle picture. We now have rat traps out but suspect when these brambles are removed the rats will also move away.
As before I would be grateful if this could be dealt with as a matter of urgency.

Still no response or action. Initially reported 2 months ago. The middle photo shows the depth of brambles / weeds behind our fence. We are unable to gain access to attempt to address this ourselves. The brambles are breaking our fences.
I would be grateful if this could now be addressed as a matter of urgency. A response would also be appreciated.

Nothing has been done 15 months since originally reporting this. No communication. Our fences continue to be broken by >7ft of overgrown brambles.
