Dangerously slippery drain covers

Reported in the Pavement Defect category by Sarah West at 06:51, Wed 20 June 2018

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later

The two drain covers at the base of the slope joining the cycle path are dangerously slippery when wet. Cyclists often have accidents here because the front wheel slides on the drain cover as the cyclist turns towards the cycle path and is thrown off their bike. I was hurt this morning while taking my children to nursery and I know other cyclists that have had the same accident. Alternative drain covers are necessary that provide more traction in wet conditions, such as those with concrete in the centre rather than metal surface.
