Constant speeding beyond 20mph limit

Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 18:27, Wed 27 June 2018

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1350495.

Gordon Avenue is a 20mph road that links 2 30mph roads and is a convenient cut-through for drivers - speeding is a constant issue at all times of the day, and despite occasional speed traps it doesn't appear to work. I know that accidents need to happen to prioritise speed cameras etc, but there have definitely been a few car/cycle collisions, several bumper bashings and a whole bunch of observed speeding in the year we've lived here. Speed cameras, chicanes, or even on road signage could help.
