General vegetation growth on Portway cycle track . Over entire section from Sea Mills Lane to Park Road Shirehampton. Particular danger on sections without grass verge. Path often reduced to half width and is alread narrow.

Continued soil encroachment in sections adjacent to banks.

  • Brambles and vegetation are still causing an issue on pavement/cycle track on Portway near Sea Mills. There are some narrow stretches of pavement here and with the spread of vegetation this does make two way cycling quite dangerous.

  • I was very concerned about this problem between Roman Way and the new Portway gym. I had intended to report it after my holiday, but returned to Bristol to find all clear. I am very pleased with this excellent job. Please thank your relevant employee. David Wotton, 66 Roman Way.
