Tree roots have caused pavement to lift, uneven and dangerous

Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 20:43, Mon 23 July 2018

Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later

The council tree is too big for the plot (council have admitted wrong type of tree planted). The roots are now causing the pavement and boundary wall to move. The pavement is now uneven and a risk to those using it - especially those with Prams and those in wheelchairs. The tree is too big for the plot and is growing dangerously close to the house, and it is also diseased - identified by the council approx 2 years ago. Roots are causing significant damage to property, blocking light and are a worry to those living close by. It needs to be severely lopped or cut down as it is becoming more unsteady in winds and bad weather. Please send someone to inspect before there is a serious accident.
