Bottom of Stoke Hill surface is now just tar and causing problems. Tar is being walked into houses and shops in the area and ruining floors. The surface of the road on the left hand side is particularly bad, despite being resurfaced a year ago

Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 12:06, Thu 26 July 2018

Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1373334.

This section of Stoke Hill was resurfaced a year ago. The grit was of very poor quality and the surface quickly deteriorated. During this recent hot weather the tar has melted and there is very little grit left on the surface of the road. When people park and go shopping in the local shops they are getting tar on their shoes and onto the floors of local businesses.
