Highways Maintenance vehicles parked on pavement

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 14:12, Friday 10 August 2018

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later

For the last few weeks, two Highway Maintenance trucks, one with a trailer carrying a mini-digger, have been parked on the pavement outside the funeral parlour every night (usually after 7pm but sometimes earlier) and most of the day/night at weekends.

Not only are they blocking a large part of the pavement, they are also causing damage to the pavement / kerb through their weight and dripping oil. This oil can end up on shoes, as I've found out to my cost. Children also regularly walk over it.

The fact that these are Highway Maintenance vehicles just seems to be taking the mick!

Reg. numbers of the vehicles in these pics are CN16 ENH and LK61 FZE, although I'm not sure if the same vehicles are used every time.
