Missing brick just before the bus stop
Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 11:45, Fri 7 September 2018
Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1406882.
This morning on our way to Nova Primary school my sons scooter wheel got trapped in the hole where there should be a brick. I have included photos of both the hole and my sons injuries. As well as a broken tooth he also has extensive bruising to his arm, leg cheek and chin I also have photos of these but was only able to upload 3 photos. As this is a route that many school children take to attend school i would suggest that this could be recitified before another child is unnessascarily hurt missing out on a days education and a parent misses a days work. Although the hole may not seem very big a scooter wheel as I learnt this morning can become stuck in it throwing my son over the handle bars. The offending missing brick is located just after the Hope and Anchor pub by the bus stop and post box. My reason for adding photos of my sons injury is not to attempt a claim for compensation it is to show how much damage this small hole has done and the importance of recitifying it.
