Bad sign
Reported in the Road Signage category by Alex Hosking at 21:56, Sun 16 September 2018
Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1414304.
A sign here says "dual carriageway ahead", even though the road there is already a dual carriageway and has been for about 200yds at this point.
A dual carriageway is still a dual carriageway even if there is only a single lane on each side, therefore this sign is erroneous and worse is helping to perpetuate the myth that dual carriageway is something to do with the number of lanes rather than there being a central reservation.
