Whole footpath blocked
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 10:12, Fri 21 September 2018
Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1418855.
I am a wheelchair user and I have to pass this way weekly to get to the create centre and the whole footpath is blocked with overgrown hedges and ivy and now the council have put a set of temporary traffic lights blocking off what is left of the pathway so now I am forced to dangerously use the road to pass. This has progressively got worse for the last 5 years but now it is unusable for me. i have reported this issue before and nothing was done.

You now have to walk in the road as there is no pavement area to walk on as well as a set of traffic lights that are now blocking what little space there is!!

Just before Christmas some people came and cut down the overhanging branches from the trees but did not clear the branches away and instead just left them in a pile on the pavement making it even more blocked that it was to start with. Now somebody needs to come and clear these away as well as cutting back the overgrown ivy and hedges blocking the whole pavement
